Hard Rock Grand Cayman has partnered with Corona, Jose Cuervo and 96.5 CayRock for a third year running for the annual Cinco de Mayo event to take place on Saturday, May 2nd, 2009. The streets are closed for Batabanoo as well and we are showing the Ricky HATTON Vs. Manny PACQUIAO – LIVE – OUTDOORS ON THE BIG SCREEN

The 3rd Annual Air Guitar Competition, hosted by Cayrock, will also be taking place with a chance for a lucky winner to be sent to London, England to see:

This prize is valued at $4,000 as it includes flights, accommodations, spending money and VIP passes for the weekend.

The Latin American celebration of “Cinco De Mayo (5th of May).” Cinco De Mayo was created to commemorate the victory of the Mexican militia over the French army at the Battle of Puebla in 1862.
